Discipline + Emotion
Studying Technical Analysis for a long time, I have been always questioning myself about a simple word: Discipline.
According to the dictionary Discipline is:
“1. The practice of making people obey rules or standards of behaviour, and punishing them when they do not.”
“2. The quality of being able to behave and work in a controlled way which involves obeying particular rules or standards.”
So simple and so difficult when involving emotion.
Technical Analysis, initially, seems to be simple and direct but extremely difficult if you are not emotionally well prepared and disciplined. Investing money is not a game and definitely not gambling to enjoy the emotion of playing.
See you disciplined!
PS: The next book of my list is “The Way of the Warrior-Trader: The Financial Risk-Taker’s Guide to Samurai Courage, Confidence and Discipline” – Richard D. McCall
PS2: Discipline at Wikipedia.
An Italian “Family Guy” + Monty Python
Being studied English with some Italians, this stereotype is quite funny.
